- To apply for the Junior Research Fellowship, the maximum age limit is 28 years. SC/ST candidates, those with a disability, and female aspirants are offered a relaxation of 5 years in the age limit. OBC applicants from the non-creamy layer are also given a relaxation of 3 years.
