KITE Kerala

Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education (KITE) is a state-owned special-purpose company run by the Kerala government’s education department. KITE Kerala was created to support ICT-enabled education in Kerala schools. In August 2017, the former IT@School Project was renamed KITE to broaden its scope of operations. It was the first SPV (Special Purpose Vehicle) company to receive KIIFB funding (Kerala Infrastructure and Investment Fund Board).

KITE VICTERS

KITE is the nodal agency for executing the EDUSAT network, and it broadcasts an educational channel named KITE VICTERS (Versatile ICT Enabled Resource for Students) from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. On July 28, 2005, the Late Former President of India, A P J Abdul Kalam, inaugurated India’s first broadband network on EDUSAT for schools, KITE VICTERS.
