The KEAM Entrance Exam stands for Kerala Engineering Architecture and Medical entrance exam. Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) is an entrance exam series for the admissions to several professional degree courses in the state of Kerala, India. Conducted by the Office of the Commissioner of Entrance Exams that is run by the Government of Kerala. Students are tested on the subjects of Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics taught in the 11th and 12th grade of Kerala State Education Board, as well as national boards such as CBSE and ICSE. The exam consists of two parts – while Part I is Mathematics, Part II is Physics and Chemistry. This is quite similar to the Medical Entrance Tests conducted by NEET. Architectural courses, as per the Office of the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations, Kerala, as in the clause 1.4b of the prospectus. They are ranked on the basis of National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) which is conducted by the National Institute of Advanced Studies in Architecture (NIASA) according to the directives of the Council of Architecture, India.

KEAM is arguably the only entrance test series in India conducted by a State Government in India directly. Ever since 2015 all engineering colleges in the state have been affiliated to KTU, a state run technological university.
