ePathshala

The digital India initiative has encouraged the widespread use of ICTs in the teaching and learning process. The ePathshala, a joint initiative of the Ministry of Education, the Government of India, and the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), was created to showcase and disseminate all educational e-resources for students, teachers, parents, researchers, and educators, including textbooks, audio, video, periodicals, and a variety of other print and non-print materials.

It gives students access to digital textbooks for all classes, as well as graded learning resources, and allows them to participate in exhibitions, contests, festivals, and workshops.

How does it help?

eBooks can be accessed by students, teachers, educators, and parents via a variety of technology platforms, including mobile phones and tablets (as epub) and the web via laptops and desktop computers (as Flipbook). ePathshala also allows users to bring as many books as their device would allow. These books’ features allow users to digitally pinch, choose, zoom, bookmark, highlight, navigate, share, and take notes.
